Jumbo Posts
Jumbo Posts are for use in general access areas on the airfield and are manufactured in a non-rust, medium density PVC. They are suitable for use on all surfaces and can be fixed in the ground with a 205mm fixing pipe.
The main colours are normally White or Black (other colours are available to order).
Jumbo posts are recommended to be spaced 2m apart for maximum benefit. Each post can be fitted with retroreflective sleeves. These are 250mm in length and available in Red, White, Blue, and Yellow options.
Retro reflective Sheath Colours
We strongly recommend using the LLGFP (Linlaner Ground Fitting Pipe) for installation of the posts.

The LLGFP can be placed in the pavement (concrete) as well as directly in the soft ground around the airfield.
​
When placed in the earth/ground, the ground should ideally be compacted or firm. We recommend using the Parkinson Richmark Auger to make the hole in the ground for the LLGFP.
